The court clerk has the primary responsibility to record, file, and maintain as permanent records the proceedings of the district court.
AS OF NOVEMBER 1, 2022, it is NOT required that minister credentials be registered with the Court Clerk. The new statutory language simply requires the person performing the ceremony to certify on the certificate that they have the authority to solemnize the marriage. As such, the Court Clerk will NO LONGER accept minister credentials for filing.
