The court clerk has the primary responsibility to record, file, and maintain as permanent records the proceedings of the district court.
The McCurtain County Court Clerk issues 500 jury summons each year. Names of jurors are randomly selected from the Division of Motor Vehicle Driver License Records.
Persons who are 70 years of age or older or those who have served on a jury within the past 5 years cannot be compelled to serve. If that is your situation or you believe you have a medical or some other SIGNIFICANT reason why you cannot serve, you must call the Court Clerk's office at (580) 286-3693.
